Since a long time the University of Aveiro cherishes a holistic connection between scientific fields regarding education as well as research and clinical practice. The organization and promotion of such a kind of event fits in this spirit of thematic opening and comprehensiveness.
In this first Meeting, the highlights of the event will be breast imaging and therapy (from prevention to treatment), innovation in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy (MIRT), informatics in Medical Imaging as well as security and radiation protection issues.
